The wanderings of a madman

Force Crag mine

Transport yourself back in time.

After walking for what seemed like an eternity along what has come to be known as the “Burma road” we found ourselves transported decades in the past and in awe of the juxtaposition between the cascading green of the surrounding fells and the almost blood red colour of the rust that now makes up the shell of the mine itself.
